American Lives are the least of the Obamageddons Concern

Schools around the nation are closing, Biden says do not take the subways or get on a plane and all I hear on the communist nightly news is there is a Pandemic going on in Mexico the entire government is shutting down and yet...

Not only do they NOT secure our borders to contain the virus they will not even allow our Border Patrol to wear masks. No we would rather have you infected and unprotected than to
offend the LOONEYS!

Border Patrol agents ordered NOT to wear protective masks against Mexican swine flu!

Here is the number to leave a comment at DHS - 1-202-282-8495 I hope you call and give them a piece of your mind!
The WHO announced yesterday that every country should make all preparations for a pandemic. Our officials at the USA/Mexico border are not allowed to protect themselves!! Just another example of our current administration putting others ahead of the citizens. We the people of the United States of America do not matter in today's Whitehouse. But those who are invading our country by entering illegally do matter to them.

Biden - Don't Ride The Subway

President Joe Biden sounded the Alarm

While The Resident is telling you NOT to Panic it seems the Vice President is telling you otherwise...

NBC New York: "I would not be at this point ... [be] suggesting they ride the subway,"  Biden said when asked whether he would advise family members to use public transportation.

Biden made his comments during a brief interview on NBC's "Today" show during an interview with Matt Lauer.

The vice president said if one person sneezes on a plane "it goes all the way through the aircraft."

Biden said the advice to his family differs from that of the federal government's to the public because, "That's me."

But you know, that 's Big Mouth Joe for ya!

I moved out and away purposely and I am glad I did so no worry in me riding the subways for now however how will his diarrhea of the mouth affect The Residents Urban Dwelling plans?...

Ron Utt, the Antiplanner’s faithful ally, has uncovered the first steps of President Obama’s plan to force smart growth on those parts of the country that managed to escape the housing bubble. The departments of Transportation and Housing & Urban Development have signed a joint agreement to impose smart growth on the entire nation.

Under the agreement, the departments will “have every major metropolitan area in the country conduct integrated housing, transportation, and land use planning and investment in the next four years.” Of course, nearly all of the metropolitan areas that already did such integrated planning suffered housing bubbles, while most of those that did not did not have bubbles. The effect of Obama’s plan will be to make the next housing bubble much worse than the one that caused the current financial crisis.

Obama first hinted about this plan in a town hall meeting in February. “The days where we’re just building sprawl forever, those days are over,” he told a group in Fort Myers, Florida. “I think that Republicans, Democrats, everybody recognizes that that’s not a smart way to design communities.” Not everybody.

Ironically, earlier in the town hall meeting, Obama pointed to a local couple who were forced by the recession to make a big “sacrifices,” said the president: “they’ve sold their home and moved into a smaller one.” It isn’t clear from the press statement whether he was bemoaning or celebrating their sacrifice. After all, the whole point of smart growth is to force more people — not everyone, certainly (the planners will want to stay on their quarter-acre lots), but more than now — to live in smaller homes.

Never forget that the original definition of the word “smart” was not “wise” or “intelligent,” but “a sharp, stinging pain.” Obama’s plans will inflict pain on many more Americans.

Update lmao...

Please pay no attention to what the Vice President actually says when it differs from the official White House line on swine flu

5 Wild Diseases we got from Animals

gorilla

Crabs?  Imagine the excuses "Honey the only place I was visiting was the Zoo"...

The swine flu is just one of many deadly diseases that have jumped from animals to humans.

Bacteria and viruses that are deadly to one type of creature can evolve quickly to infect another. The cross-species infection can originate on farms or in markets, where conditions foster mixing of pathogens, giving them opportunities to swap genes and gear up to kill previously foreign hosts, like you. Microbes of two varieties can even gather in your gut, do some viral dancing, and evolve to morph you into a deadly, contagious host.

Diseases passed from animals to humans are called zoonoses, and researchers say they are on the rise. Here are five that have had tremendous impact on us:

5. Gorillas Gave Humans 'The Crabs'

Humans caught pubic lice from gorillas about 3 million years ago. We likely picked up the delightful disease, affectionately known as "crabs," not by sleeping with gorillas, but by sleeping in gorilla nests or eating the gorillas, scientists concluded in 2007. Humans, by the way, are the only primates that have both pubic lice and head lice (chimps have just head lice, and you now know which kind gorillas have).

4. Insane Mind Parasite

The bizarre parasite Toxoplasma gondii infects the brains of more than half the human population, including about 50 million Americans. It is thought increase the risk of neuroticism and may contribute to schizophrenia. However, its primary host is house cats. You can get it from cat feces. Initially, symptoms in humans are typically flu-like. But this bug never goes away. Some scientists think it has altered human behavior enough to shape entire cultures. Countries with high prevalence of T. gondii infection also have higher average neuroticism scores, one study found.

3. HIV/AIDS

HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, originated from chimps and other primates and is thought to have first infected humans at least a century ago. At the end of 2007, an estimated 33 million people had HIV, including about 2.7 million new cases for the year, and about 2 million died (including 270,000 children) during the year. Two-thirds of HIV infections are in sub-Saharan Africa.

2. The Bubonic Plague

Nothing beats the 14-century Black Death (also called Bubonic Plague) for sheer global impact of a single disease outbreak and bringing civilization to its knees. Corpses piled in the streets from Europe to Egypt and across Asia. Some 75 million died — at a time when there were only about 360 million to start with. Death came in a matter of days, and it was excruciatingly painful. Plague is a bacterial disease caused by Yersinia pestis. It is carried by rodents and even cats, but becomes most deadly to us when transmitted between people, as became the case in the 1300s. It took centuries for some societies to recover, as some of the survivors mistrusted local authorities and in some cases even God, under whose wrath they presumably had suffered.

1. Influenza Pandemics

The swine flu outbreaks cropping up in several countries now are nothing — so far — compared to historical flu outbreaks. The 1918 influenza pandemic swept the world within months, killing an estimated 50 million people — more than any other illness in recorded history for the short time frame involved. One-fifth of the world's population was infected, and it struck more than 25 percent of U.S. residents.

Today, governments are more prepared, scientifically and logistically, to handle flu outbreaks. Still, there is no vaccine for swine flu, and it could take months, or more, to develop one.

Torture vs Waterboarding

The CIA's interrogation methods do not constitute torture. With The Resident and his minions in charge handcuffing us to the lunacy of not being able to get information from our Enemies it is time people start to understand the difference between Torture and Interrogation!

Navy Seals are waterboarded as part of their training are we torturing our own people?

This humorous video helps to make the point:

Torture is being BeHeaded having nails pounded in your hands Terror is having Traitors in our government who will go out of their way to protect the guilty...

Senate To Vote On Treaty To Let UN Control US Parenting

Warning!

In yet another example of why Americans of all political stripes need to stand up and stop the Obama administration from forcing the U.S. into submitting to international law, this treaty - while stating that parents or legal guardians "have primary responsibility for the upbringing and development of the child," states that government will ultimately determine whether parents' decisions are in their children's best interest.

If this treaty is ratified by the Senate it would dictate the following (HT - Steve Foley at Minority Report):

1) Parents would no longer be able to administer reasonable spankings to their children.

2) A murderer aged 17 years, 11 months and 29 days at the time of his crime could no longer be sentenced to life in prison.

3) Children would have the ability to choose their own religion while parents would only have the authority to give their children advice about religion.

4) The best interest of the child principle would give the government the ability to override every decision made by every parent if a government worker disagreed with the parent's decision.

5) A child's "right to be heard" would allow him (or her) to seek governmental review of every parental decision with which the child disagreed.

6) According to existing interpretation, it would be illegal for a nation to spend more on national defense than it does on children's welfare.

7) Children would acquire a legally enforceable right to leisure.

8) Teaching children about Christianity in schools has been held to be out of compliance with the CRC.

9) Allowing parents to opt their children out of sex education has been held to be out of compliance with the CRC.

10) Children would have the right to reproductive health information and services, including abortions, without parental knowledge or consent.

Chelsea Schilling writes at World Net Daily (HT - Steve Foley):
Although signed by Madeleine Albright, U.S. ambassador to the U.N., on Feb. 16, 1995, the U.S. Senate never ratified the treaty, largely because of conservatives' efforts to point out it would create that list of rights which primarily would be enforced against parents.

The international treaty creates specific civil, economic, social, cultural and even economic rights for every child and states that "the best interests of the child shall be a primary consideration." While the treaty states that parents or legal guardians "have primary responsibility for the upbringing and development of the child," Farris said government will ultimately determine whether parents' decisions are in their children's best interest. The treaty is monitored by the CRC, which conceivably has enforcement powers.

Contact your senator and let them know that you do not want the UN to control US parenting. The Traitors in our own government are taking away our rights and turning us over to the NWO one piece at a time.

Montana Fires a Warning Shot over States Rights

With The Resident trying to push a pact that would ban reloading of ammunition maybe Montana where the citizens seem to value their 2nd Amendment Rights more than many others they are taking action and testing the Federal Government.  I would not be surprised if it came down to brass tacks they would go as far as seceding if necessary.

Montana is trying to trigger a battle over gun control — and perhaps make a larger point about what many folks in this ruggedly independent state regard as a meddlesome federal government.

In a bill passed by the Legislature earlier this month, the state is asserting that guns manufactured in Montana and sold in Montana to people who intend to keep their weapons in Montana are exempt from federal gun registration, background check and dealer-licensing rules because no state lines are crossed.

That notion is all but certain to be tested in court.

The immediate effect of the law could be limited, since Montana is home to just a few specialty gun makers, known for high-end hunting rifles and replicas of Old West weapons, and because their out-of-state sales would automatically trigger federal control.

Still, much bigger prey lies in Montana's sights: a legal showdown over how far the federal government's regulatory authority extends.

"It's a gun bill, but it's another way of demonstrating the sovereignty of the state of Montana," said Democratic Gov. Brian Schweitzer, who signed the bill.  Read in full...

Group says pact would ban reloading of ammunition, and could even prohibit BB guns

Obama says he will make passage of an anti-gun treaty a priority

A national gun rights group says it will fight “tooth and nail” against a vaguely-worded treaty that could ban the reloading of ammunition without a permit.

President Barack Obama, during opening remarks at the recent Summit of the Americas, said he was making passage of the Inter-American Convention Against the Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and Other Related Materials a priority during his administration.

The Organization of American States treaty was signed by former President Bill Clinton in 1997 but never submitted to the U.S. Senate for consideration.

“He knew he didn’t have the votes, but we’re concerned that with the different composition of the Senate that the likelihood of it being passed is higher,”  Erich Pratt, communications director of Gun Owners of America, told Kansas Liberty. “I’m not saying they have the votes yet necessarily, but it’s definitely closer.”

Reloading refers to the repacking and re-use of spent shell casings, a practice that is more popular than ever given skyrocketing ammunition prices.

“It’s much cheaper than buying ammunition by the box, especially now,” Pratt said.

Pratt said the treaty, which had been approved in most Latin American countries, is so vaguely worded that it’s subject to interpretation.

GOA fears the treaty could prohibit more than just reloading.

For example, it bans the "illicit manufacturing" of weapons, which, under a strict interpretation, could prohibit citizens from building firearms from kits. In addition, since the treaty never clearly defines the term “weapon,” it could apply even to BB guns and other non-lethal weapons.

Pratt said to his knowledge, no senator had yet formally requested consideration of the treaty.

“I’m not aware that any concrete action has been taken yet, but we’re watching it closely, and if it does get introduced, we’ll be fighting it tooth and nail.”

The Clinton bubble

Interesting some are starting to come out with the truth this crisis was really a dirty bill bubble but I feel no sympathy for the banks because they Lobbied and paid plenty to have Glass-Steagall gone and many had participated in the Credit Derivative Fraud but none the less most interesting article ...

Has Timothy Geithner ever had lunch with a non-megamillionaire who has lost his job or home because of the banking meltdown? I ask that question after reading the list of the treasury secretary’s luncheon dates when he was head of the New York Federal Reserve, a list that the government was forced to provide in response to a lawsuit.

During those years when he was supposed to be supervising Wall Street, he supped most often in the top-echelon dining room of some bank or at the home of one of the financial moguls who created the mess that has now bankrupted billions throughout the world. One of his frequent luncheon buddies was Sanford I. Weill, who as chairman of Citigroup lobbied successfully for the reversal of key regulations that dated back to the New Deal era. That change permitted Weill’s oligarchy to become “too big to fail.”

Another preferred dining companion was Robert Rubin, who as Bill Clinton’s treasury secretary pushed through Weill’s favored deregulation—a disastrous “reform” that lies at the heart of the current mess—and who went on to become chairman of Citigroup, where he presided over a downfall of the company that required a $45 billion taxpayer bailout. Geithner had worked for Rubin at the Treasury Department, and it was Rubin who got him his job at the New York Fed and hooked him up with Barack Obama.

Geithner has since pushed the Obama administration to approach the banking crisis not in response to the needs of destitute homeowners but rather from the side of the bankers who are seizing their homes. Instead of keeping people in their homes with a freeze on foreclosures, he has rewarded the unscrupulous lenders who conned ordinary folks.

He still wants to give more money to Citigroup, which has just been found woefully short of cash by Treasury’s auditors, and has not stopped Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and some other big banks ostensibly under government influence, and indeed sometimes ownership, from recently ending their temporary moratoriums on housing foreclosures. Geithner has been in the forefront of coddling the banks in the hopes that welfare for the rich will trickle down to suffering homeowners, but that has not happened.

As The New York Times revealed this week in a devastating exposé of Geithner’s record: “An examination of Mr. Geithner’s five years as president of the New York Fed, an era of unbridled and ultimately disastrous risk-taking by the financial industry, shows that he forged unusually close relationships with executives of Wall Street’s giant financial institutions. His actions, as a regulator and later a bailout king, often aligned with the industry’s interests and desires, according to interviews with financiers, regulators and analysts and a review of Federal Reserve records.”

Most revealing was the Times’ discovery that Geithner shocked a meeting of top government officials, convened by then-Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson to deal with the financial crisis, when “[h]e proposed asking Congress to give the president broad power to guarantee all the debt in the banking system. … ”

Now I know that the conventional wisdom among Democrats is that the Clintonistas were wildly successful in running the economy when they had their turn, and that Rubin and his protégés Lawrence Summers and Geithner deserve a lot of the credit. But that view is dead wrong. The seeds of the current economic chaos were planted in those years, in which Wall Street lobbyists were given everything they wanted in the way of radical deregulation, and hence was born the madcap world of credit swaps and other unregulated derivatives.

The result was a Clinton bubble, which saw the rise of a new superrich class that vastly skewed income distribution in favor of what was termed the “working rich” by Emmanuel Saez, who deservedly just won the top prize for young economists, the American Economic Association’s John Bates Clark Medal. Members of the “working rich” are well represented in the top 1 percent of income “earners,” who, according to a study by Saez, “captured about half of the overall economic growth over the period 1993-2006.” The record is clear that from the first year of the Clinton reign, the new class of superrich, including many Wall Streeters, benefited as much as the other 99 percent of the nation’s population did from the policies that Clinton put in place and George W. Bush accelerated.

To add salt to the wounds of those left out of the bubble, the Clinton administration summarily ended the federal poverty program in the name of a so-called welfare reform that “devolved” programs for the poor to the tender mercy of the states. The meanness derby between the cash-strapped states is on, and the poor, a category that includes a growing number of folks who only recently were judged “middle class,” are abandoned.

What is involved here is an extreme case of government-condoned “moral hazard” offering outrageous compensation to the superrich for screwing up royally. Where is the socially conscious Obama we voted for? E-mail him and ask.

Well I did not vote for him but I did find the article enlightening and the question people should be asking is why? What is the End Run besides enriching themselves at our expense?

Catherine Austin Fitts, Assistant Secretary of Housing and Federal Housing Commissioner under GHW Bush and Dillon Read & Co. Managing Director and board member, in her latest quarterly review, she predicts that "Obama will do more to help bankers achieve centralized control and one world government than any (previous) US politician.  "In less than three months in office, he's shown bankers they can count on him - to the tune of trillions of dollars, further open-ended checkbook amounts on request, and global "diplomatic" pressure on targeted nations to surrender."
