Welcome to the ObamaNation...circa September 9, 2009. According to a White House press release, El Presidente will assemble the nation's "schoolchildren" (sic) on September 8, for the White House Dear Leader lesson plan. I see he is changing the plan after justifiable outrage. My personal objections to this is not that he was addressing the children it was the fact that the White House collaborated with a Dear Leader lesson plan.
Q: Who came up with the idea?
A: The White House and Department of Education collaborated
Original plan...Why is it important that we listen to the President and other elected officials, like the mayor, senators, members of congress, or the governor?
Young children are very impressionable with brains like a sponge. I do not believe they should be taught to follow any thing blindly. Take for example wise parents warn children not to fall for the man handing out candy to help him find his lost dog.
The Dear Leader lesson plan in addition to having them read books that really glorified him included why children should listen to the president and their elected officials. If the plan had included the opposite side of the coin and had taught children the unconstitutionality of the actions of those same officials and informing them under those circumstances they should not listen it would have developed critical thinking skills, however the plan did nothing like that.
"In John F. Kennedy famous quote, “ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country” – Kennedy didn’t ask anyone to consider what they could do for President John F Kennedy ….. Kennedy must be rolling in his grave.
After the kids color the pictures of “Obama Quotes On Education” will the pictures be collected and bound in a “Little Red Book” – wait a minute, that has already been done by a “Great Leader”, correct.(Quotes from General Mao, later Chairman Mao – memorialized in Mao’s “Little Red Book”).
We don’t pledge allegiance to any particular politician or President in this country – we pledge to the Constitution and the concepts it represents …. the Countries that pledge allegiance to individual politicians are all dictatorships, Red China, the Soviet Union and Hitler’s Germany – where the Military was required to pledge individual allegiance to Hitler over the Country or its Government.
Definition: Fuhrer – The Leader, especially one exercising the powers of a tyrant."
Otherwise they end up like this.
Do not believe for a moment if the shoe were on the other FOOT there would be no outrage.
